This is our letter to be attached to an email about the evening event. Please comment :)

  1. it's good but it does drag on a bit so try and make it say what it has to say but also make it shorter. just trying to help.

  2. Did you really compose this letter yourselves? Is it all your own words? If so, I'm really impressed, it shows a real awareness of audience.

    There are a couple of things if you want to really bring it up to the highest standard. These days business letters are not usually indented, they are left aligned, with a blank line between each paragraph. Also, "Yours sincerely" - is not centred or indented - it's left aligned, with a blank line before it. Treat the "Yours sincerely" as a sentence - so a capital at the beginning, but not on 'sincerely'.
    Generally there is no punctuation outside the main body of the letter - so you don't need a comma after the greeting or the "Yours sincerely".

    However, all of these things are layout points - and even many people working in offices don't know these things. What really matters is the excellent quality of the content of your letter. Well done.
